Our Community Involvement
Gordy Oliva Remodeling and all the team members are committed to giving back to the community. Not because it’s good for business but because it’s the right thing to do.
Many people have helped us achieve our success and this is our way of returning the favor.
The National Junior Achievement program uses hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with business and educators, Gordy has volunteered in several elementary school classrooms for 6 years bringing unique perspectives to children.
As a way for students to leave their lasting mark, three tile murals were hand crafted by more than 700 students in 3 years time. With the help of Gordy Oliva Remodeling and Burtling Tile and Marble, 108
SFT of ceramic tile are permanently displayed in the media center at Burton Elementary in the Berkley School District.
Gordy Oliva Remodeling designed and build several custom backyard playhouses were auctioned off and raised almost $6,500 for local organizations.
